Create a team directory in Trello with this board template


Manage your team effectively, no matter the size of your business! A team directory in Trello is an easy way to see your staff at a glance. Maintain a card for each person, and use lists to sort them by department. 

You could use your Trello team board in a few different ways:

  • As an onboarding tool: Help new recruits learn who’s who! Cards could include pictures of each team member, their role in the business and a short, fun bio. Add team birthdays and work anniversaries – and use Trello automation to set reminders. 

  • As a management tool: Keep tabs on staff contracts, individual performance and team satisfaction. Although the format is the same, this board could contain sensitive information, so you might not want to add everyone to this board.

This is a simple Trello template, with cards for each person and lists for each team (i.e.: sales, marketing, finance). You could keep an optional extra list to store useful information. If you’re using your team board as a company-wide tool, this might be general info like onboarding documentation or standard company policies. But if you’re using it as a private management tool, you could use this list as a central repository for template contracts and other HR resources.
